About Jess

Jess Wilson (also known as Jessica Wilson) is a Sydney-based tech entrepreneur, AI & innovation keynote speaker, MC and on-stage interviewer. She grew up in a small country town, one of six students in her year. She started her first business at 16, left university to work across fashion weeks in Australia, New York and Paris, and spotted a shift in technology that sent her to Silicon Valley on a one-way ticket at 21. At 22 she founded her first tech company, Stashd, and scaled it into 130 countries, raising funding and building an international team along the way.
She went on to become a Grand Finalist on China’s The Next Unicorn, broadcast to 15 million viewers an episode. Today she is co-founder and CEO of Waves Tech Ventures and Women Making Waves, which works with partners including Google, Airbnb, TikTok, Speedo and The Chopra Foundation to advance women’s rights law reform in Australia and the US. She is also a Forbes Australia contributor and an Ambassador for The Pillars, where she curates and hosts the Influential Women and What’s Next in Tech series.
On stage, Jess has opened national tours for Tony Robbins and Tom Bilyeu and interviewed Sir Richard Branson, Microsoft’s CTO, Robert Kiyosaki and Dan Carter. She works with organisations such as Lenovo, Google, KPMG, EY, PwC and Commonwealth Bank to help their people navigate innovation, adapt to AI and lead what’s next.
